Not able to connect to RadarBox Network
« on: June 06, 2016, 01:31:47 PM »
Hi there,

I am using AirNav RadarBox (v6.0) with a RTL Dongle and I am able to successfully see my local traffic but I am unable to connect to the RadarBox Network and unable to send my local traffic to the network.

It is been days now that the Network Connection icon stays always yellow and trying to update every 4 seconds. Below that there is always the message "Connecting to RadarBox Network server..." without any change. It was like this from the beginning - never connected. Network Statistics says 0 data traffic.

I am familiar with networks so I can say that everything on my end is OK from the networking point of view (firewalls, routing, etc). Tired searching the forums and the web but I was not able to find anything to resolve this issue.

Maybe someone here is knowledgeable enough to help me resolving this problem.

Thank you in advance.

You will not be able to see network traffic on V6 unless you subscribe to the network, only local traffic.  You can however use Radarbox24 to see network traffic

Bob,

Have a look at http://www.airnavsystems.com/RadarBox/order.html
Maybe even try radarbox24.com

I would like to subscribe to the network, but the order form requires a Serial Number  which Micro RadarBox does not come with.  Does anyone know if it's possible to subscribe with the Micro RadarBox or if I need to buy RadarBox Pro?

Bob,

You can subscribe to the Network using the Micro no problem.  I suggest that you contact [email protected] for guidance.

They don't respond to emails and no one answers at the number given.  Not sure why they wouldn't have customer support when someone is trying to buy their product.

They normally answer within 24 hours.  You should have received an automated response with a ticket ID, The number is a reply service also.  I presume they you have not received the automated response to your email maybe caught in their spam filter.  I will advise that you have been trying to contact but also remember that this is the weekend

You are wrong Siddy.

If you are on W10 and using W10.1 anniversary edition you will have problems.  If its a previous version of W10 it should work OK if you follow the advice on the Windows 8 sticky
