Thanks for that, I presume that it is an unofficial code or maybe it will be on the next update.  Will add it to the d/b .  They are using 3 ex NetJet Saab 340's

I understand what you are saying but as ICAO allocate the ICAO operator codes they must be taken as the official listing and the FAA and Eurocontrol lists are taken from ICAO and LPA is on neither of them. 

Regarding defunct airline codes still being on the FAA list I would presume that if the allocating authority still have them on their list they will still be classed as current until they are reallocated or withdrawn by them.

I also presume the private sites like CH and Avcodes etc use the ICAO listing and they also use unoffical codes/unallocated codes they pick up from useage.  As you say we get there.

I will need to make better use of my CH subscription!!

First is RA-07333 Airbus helicopter c/n 8580 recently delivered in all black paint

Second likely decodes to either RA-01310/RA-1310G but can find nothing on it at present
