Just to show you, these are all corrupt packages picked up at distance from 1800 last night that can be tied to another flight. This is much worse than usual so as stated earlier it must be current atmospheric conditions at play. That would be about 10 in total yesterday out of 2230 picked up so I can live with it!

Morning X

AC404A is N889LM and was added to the d/b last night
You can usually tell corrupt packets as they don't usually have any further info such as flight ID

Agreed not usually does one get flight ID with corrupt packages however in sandpit I was getting EK aircraft with airarabia c/s and vice versa which had me confused for a while! for example in 2013 here is UAE/EK309 from Beijing China showing as A6-ABU and A6-ANI as flyDubai from Beirut

89632C  UAE309   ZBAA-OMDB       A6-ABU  A320  Air Arabia           2013/05/07 11:53:50
89633B  FDB156   OLBA-OMDB       A6-ANI  A320  Air Arabia           2013/05/07 07:28:48

Unfortunately you will get that with corrupt packets when the software recognises the duff hex and the details from the database but no idea why it would then tie on the flight ID unless that was also flying at the time and added the flight ID it was using
