Network problems?
« on: December 14, 2014, 11:58:20 AM »
Currently the live network is generally showing over 9000 aircraft, and then plummeting to around, and it's making my computer really sluggish.

Is there a problem?

I have advised Airnav about 30 minutes ago and it is being worked on.  I have switched off the network.

Teething problems with the new server software applied on Friday.

Network shows working but no aircraft in Network box, also can't use any keys cursor not working when clicking on all modes and loads of ex - network aircraft all over the screen, sometimes I wonder what the the £70 odd quid we pay is worth it !!

Managed to close the Network connection, now the mouse works OK again so the network seem to be blocking all local input etc at least I can use my local ANRB OK

Is anyone else having major problems with network at the moment 1400/14-12-2014, I certainly am!
Mine was showing 7 a/c then 9764!
1410- 1425 One interesting "a/c" showing is "AIRWING1" - but when I went to highlight it, network disappeared yet again - seems to be up and down faster than the old banger's back-side!
1425 Now back to 8 a/c listed.
1430 For a moment whilst up, managed to highlight AIRWING1 and it turns out to be a bunch of more a/c than you'd find snakes at a serpent's wedding!, out in the middle east, a/c showing as many A6 and A7 registrations - anyone know what's on?   My given times are all Z - not ANRB's Z-1 for info

The problem is timeouts are not being deleted hence the figure climbing.  Better to untick the Get Flights from Network until it is sorted.

Not a great deal of help to me Alan at the moment, moved out from home in rented accommodation (pending building work, so not a case of my better half being an XYL!) - no antennas, so getting nothing of my own to contribute - noticed quite a drop off of a/c coming in from the west over the sea!

Probably due the weather we have been getting the last couple of weeks Jon, the traffic seems to be south and north of you.

No Alan, since I've been unable to contribute, there's been a quite significant drop off in a/c being clocked 250 - 300 nm west over Atlantic.   Just trying to figure out how to post the grab of the screen shot I've just saved.

Hopefully, here's a screen-shot of 10 minutes ago ........?   This is all just west of Dubai IA, and as far as I can see identical, confirming your assertion Alan, but very impressive!!!

Just now the Atlantic traffic is going south of Ireland and up over me to Stornoway and up to Iceland.  There's a big hole over Ireland for Atlantic traffic.

Had to turn my network off numerous times today as problems with network. Any updates? Airnav screen doing strange things!

Cheers

Trev,

As above I would suggest unticking the Get Flights from Radarbox Network until this is fixed.  The problem is timed out flights are not being deleted and this will not be until later this evening.
