Heathrow abandoned approach
« on: June 13, 2013, 09:24:56 PM »
I was watching the tennis from Queens Club, London on the TV, when I heard a heavy jet applying lots of power while on the approach to Heathrow. I switched to RB, and then to RB24 to see a Jet Airways B77W, JAI118, climbing, then abandoning its approach and do a quick 360 turn at 4000 ft before rejoining and landing. Apart from presumably being too low, I wonder what other problems it had.

Never seen an abandoned approach on RB before.
