Rich,

That's the right size file.  When it's installed and uncompressed it becomes around 45mb.

Did the update a month ago install ok?

Ha ha ha...............

Sorry guys - just got sidetracked with City's blistering start in the Europa League match (you know the one Alan?)

Andrew - to be honest, I deferred from trying the earlier release, as I was overseas when it was released, so didn't have my box with me

Maybe it's pennance for giving AirNav such a hard time for badgering them for a re-release?...................................

i'll try again!

I installed the new database, and all seemed OK at first, except I now seem to  have lost all my Easyjet and Ryanair 3D model skins.  They are just showing as plain white 3D models now !?
Any ideas ?   (I have V4.03 and no other modifications).

Cool-1, Airnav will hopefully confirm, but I wouldnt think that the database update would do anything to the 3d models.

Jeez this is getting very very strange

Ok - I once again downloaded from scratch - this time (and to be honest, I can't be sure if this wasn't the case before?) the file downloaded at the correct file size.

Great i thought

However on opening up the Radarbox application, the Navdata file automatically reverts to what appears to be a blank file, with no data in it under any tables whatsoever (at a much smaller file size)- however, and this is the real problem, the backup file created by the process of downloading the new application, is also empty???
This happened during the time over which the RadarBox programme loaded

I've tried this separately twice now

But, it gets worse...............

I now appear to have lost all response from the network, and the 3D options also

Just about given up for the night

Alan - I've got a link into Aerodata analyser, but it's not actively running - I've also got an older verion of RadarBox on the laptop - with nothing linked, and the same happens??

Yes, the same with german wings A319s or UPS 47s. And about half of the routings in my area (west germany) are incorrect. :-((.
Seems some work to be done . But where i can find the livery and how to put it in? And how to get the correct routings in the 2D map?
when ich put in the correct routing in the database, it only changes in 3D, but not in 2D map and not in the interface.
sorry when i m off the theme.

I've read the two threads regarding the 'new' database and I ask again.  If AirNav claim to be No.1 then why not supply a professional database.  Again, I am not having a go at the hard working volunteers - I can't praise you enough, but shouldn't there be at least an option of securing a third party database for ANRB which is kept upto date and does not cause such grief to the posters above?

Surely such a database exists?

Rich,

Try doing a file search in the c:\ folder for NavData.db3, including sub folders.

If there's more than one NavData.db3 on your PC, what are the file dates, sizes, and paths. It should point us to where the new NavData.db3 was installed.

Hi all,

I have different versions of Airnav on my PC, but Iwork with ANRB 4.03 3D. Where should the new NavData.db3 be installed ? Does the Installer put Navdata in the right folder for 3D 4.03 ?
Thanks for your help.

I don't know how Airnav's database installer works, but it probably decides where to put the new database based on the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AirNav Systems\ANRB\1\General\AppPath
