PIA at Glasgow
« on: January 07, 2011, 09:54:31 AM »
It would appear that from the 19th Jan 2011, PIA are cancelling their twice a week service (on Wednesdays and Saturdays) to Islamabad from Glasgow.

It's time that the authorities did something quickly with regard to attracting services from Glasgow or it is in danger of becoming nothing more than a small provinicial airport (if it's not already there). International services are rapidly disappearing. A pity when you consider the amount of money spent on the expansion of the terminal. Airlines seem to prefer Edinburgh to Glasgow. I wonder how long before Emirates makes a move to Edinburgh and Continental/United cancel their service. They already fly twice a day from Edinburgh.
