Moving computers
« on: November 14, 2010, 04:00:07 PM »
I am moving everything over to another PC.

Running standard XP on both.

I would like to transfer all my data and settings to new computer, what files from what locations should I transfer over to keep everything ?

Thanks

Robin, see the thread "Moving Database" http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=5642.0  should tell you all you need to know.

navdata.db3 and mylog.db3 contain your logs, aircraft database, etc.

You will still need to setup all your settings though, as some things are saved as files (eg D006.dat for your fleet list), and other things are saved in the registry (eg your ANRB ID and Password).  But it's probably safer to just enter these manually on the new PC rather than copying files across.
