Stream of raw data
« on: July 24, 2010, 08:00:33 PM »
I just read that the SBS-1 provided an output stream of the ADS-B raw data on some of the telnet ports in its latest version. That's something very interesting for me. Could you provide such a stream as well? (I'm sure you can. But are you willing to do it?)

Snooping on the USB port provides ADS/B raw data.  Or using the Boris Y-adaptor converts that to a UDP port data stream - see http://radarspotters.eu/forum/index.php/topic,3120.msg21765.html#msg21765

Are you referring to RadarBox Professional (aka AirNav Flight Display) ?

Or is this another method of accessing the data ?

If the latter, I'm surprised you didn't mention it when I was asking about workarounds for some of the current decoding bugs.

Access to raw ICAO data could mean RadarBox being usable as an option for a commercial project I'm working on at the moment, which it currently isn't.
