D008.dat file - updates
« on: January 30, 2010, 11:12:09 PM »
Using the latest SBS countries.dat file (last updated 24 November 2009), I have created an updated D008.dat file - attached.  If you want to use this new version, just put it in the ANRB Data folder.

Maybe Airnav can include this in the next release.

Numerous changes, approx. 40 new lines, covering:
1. New use of the following flags (these already exist in the FLAGS folder):
          Bahamas_Mil
          Cote_d'Ivoire
          Ecuador_Mil
          Lithuania_Mil
          Panama_Mil
          Qatar_Mil
          Venezuela_Mil

2. Changes/additions to the ModeS hex code ranges for:
          Argentina_Mil
          Aruba
          Bermuda
          Botswana Mil
          Brazil Mil
          Brazil_PP
          China Hong Kong
          China Macau
          Croatia Mil
          Czech Republic Mil
          Hungary Mil
          Israel Mil
          Mexico Mil
          Morocco Mil
          NATO Mil
          Netherlands Antilles
          New Zealand Mil
          Pakistan Mil
          Poland Mil
          Saudi Arabia Mil
          Slovakia Mil
          Spain Mil
          Spain
          Thailand Mil
          United Arab Emirates

Just noticed that 5 of the new flag allocations are missing from the FLAGS folder.  These should be unzipped to the DATA/FLAGS folder.

Ecuador_Mil
Lithuania_Mil
Panama_Mil
Qatar_Mil
Venezuela_Mil

With the releaase of SBS-Resources version 6, there's an updated countries.dat file.  I've verified and converted to a new D008.dat file, attached.

I'm surprised you would use it, Valerie. After all, it's the work of staff at ML&S, the KINETIC SBS dealer. :o)

Plus a little work from me to convert to D008 ;)

But if anyone else want to do their own conversion, attached is the spreadsheet I use (with instructions).

Hi tom.
Advertising ML&S, the KINETIC SBS again on the airnav forum, seen people getting
reprimanded for less on here, all well that's airnav and life for you tom.

Valerie,

Don't worry, I've had a warning. But why should I be reprimanded? I'm not advertising - just giving due credit for their labours as should be done for all those who contribute.
