   ( g-kaat  helimed 21)     has anyone seen this aircraft in the list i only live 2 miles from its base and its allways going over but i have never picked it up ????

When you say the list do you mean the Map. If the Map it is probably not ADSB equiped therefore will not show up. However, quite often with aircraft/helicopters flying at around 1500 ft they will not show in the grid either as they do not need to transmit mode S. This usually effects helimed and police helicopters and small private aircraft. Sometimes you get lucky and at other times no joy.

Of my two locals from Benson, EC135 G-HBOB (Bucks, Oxon & Berks air ambulance) always transmits mode S when flying but Police EC135 G-SPHU doesn't. Not sure if the Police helis will start doing so when mode-S becomes mandatory for light a/c next year.

Wondered whre G-SPHU (Strathclyde Police Helicopter Unit) had gone. Haven't seen him up here in the Glasgow area for ages.
