CYYB 10,000' runway to be repaved
« on: June 03, 2009, 07:15:39 PM »
Here's some interesting news from one of the far corners of RadarBox coverage.

In 2010 Huntsville Ontario Canada will be hosting the G8 Summit.  Other then CYYZ Toronto Pearson International the next closest airport to accommodate arriving dignitaries would be CYYB North Bay.  At this time there is a good possibility that CYYB will become the main airport for the leaders to land at for the G8 Summit.  In preparation for this the City of North Bay will be repaving the 10,000' runway at Jack Garland Airport.  Huntsville is a 1.5 hour drive south of North Bay.  May see some interesting aircraft.  Stay tuned!
