A non plotter into Prestwick  a short time ago for an over night stay was NASA26 ACD5A1 N926NA 63-13503A Martin WB-57F (D) Canberra National Aeronautics and Space Administration.  It is heading to the "East" for around a year and is accompanied by a supporting USAF C-17A.

A query if I may.

On holiday in Spain and OTIS 51 showing up on Airnav. A US C1-30 just travelled south at 25,000 between Valencia and Alicante. Any ideas whether I can identify this aircraft ?

Shawn,

OTIS 51 a C130 of USMC is a frequent sighting over these parts. Today's aircraft was 165810 a KC-130J with c/n 5509. If you are over here on holiday, keep a lookout at the same time every day they are usually daily and not necessarily the same aircraft.

Shawn,

Ian was able to identify It because it was being shown by the box.  If he can identify it you should be able to.  Is your Navdata up to date.

Also any unknowns can be posted with their hex codes and any further relevant info such as the flight ID showing, in the database update thread and I will try to identify them for inclusion in the Navdata.

Not strictly military but routing Reykjavik-Coningsby on the last leg of her Atlantic crossing is the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museums Lancaster Mk.X C-GVRA. She will be over in the UK for around 6 weeks taking part in various displays including several with the BBMF Lancaster PA474.  West of Leuchars this time at FL70.

Heads up for tomorrow (17/11/14) in the south of England .  The RAF are expecting delivery of their first A400M  ZM400 around lunchtime.  Anyone know its hex code?
