Hi Jon, well we have a Parakeet flying around the garden most days (in tropical Heathrow!) but have yet to catch him on camera.

Hi James, I was working from Guildford for 8 weeks during the 2007 FMD Pirbright Project, and had the good fortune of a few visits in the Hounslow area, right under the approach to 27L.   The first photo is impressive, with 3 in formation, but the second 16541 is just superb.   During my time up there, I was astonished at the huge numbers of green parakeets - allegedly released from Shepperton studios, they seem to be rapidly becoming plague proportion numbers, so destructive and what a racket.
