Unusual Vectoring around EGCC and EGBB
« on: September 25, 2008, 03:10:53 PM »
There are some interesting holds and/or radar vectors around Manchester and Birmingham at the moment.  Doesn't seem to be any pattern to it but aircraft are doing 180 degree turns and "s" turns.

Not sure what's going on.

BMA4AX holding NW of WAL

AEA246 holding too NW of WAL?

MON594 was holding to S of WAL

G-GSPN did an "s" turn on climbout from EGCC

Didn't catch the one going around in circles over Birmingham.

It's an ATC computer problem.  It's on BBC TV News and on the website here:

Is there anybody there ..............

The AirNav Forum had this information before the BBC gave it out!

Hi Glyn, it's good to see that some people scroll down to the Aviation section of the forum :-)
