RPi installation - fails due to RBFeeder not authenticated
« on: September 17, 2017, 04:41:45 PM »
Hi,

I'm trying to install the RBFeeder client via SSH CLI however it gets halfway through and dumps me out with the following error:

Need to get 73.9 kB of archives.
After this operation, 220 kB of additional disk space will be used.
WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated!
  rbfeeder
E: There were unauthenticated packages and -y was used without --allow-unauthenticated
Failed to stop rbfeeder.service: Unit rbfeeder.service not loaded.
Failed to start rbfeeder.service: Unit rbfeeder.service not found.

Installation finished

I'm not sure what is occurring here, I'm on the latest Raspbian Stretch and it's fully up to date. I'm assuming this is a switch in the script that's not allowed an unauthenticated package to be installed.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Neil

I have already sent an email to AirNav System's Andre Brandao and Jonis Ceara about this issue in Raspbian STRETCH, and they are looking after this bug. Hope it will be resolved soon.

Meanwhile I have posted workaround here: Bake a PI

Thanks so much, that worked fine going with the manual install. Hopefully they'll get this fixed.
