Just heard on the news about the BA 747 that departed LHR and then found out that one of his doors wasn,t sealed !!!  I work at Aylesford and before lunch there was a 747 going round in a circle then headed back towards London.Never had anything so low as that apart from small stuff.

According to Aviation Herald the flight was BA117, G-CIVX from LHR-JFK. The aircraft climbed to 1500ft when a warning light indicated that a door was not closed properly. The aircraft returned safely to LHR just 9 minutes after take-off. It must have been half-empty to start off with as there is no mention of fuel having to be dumped before the landing.
