Hi All,Irish ATC taking strike action this afternoon between 1400-1800 GMT to attend union meetings. This will close some airfields,Aer Lingus & Ryanair are cancelling a number of flights this afternoon, which will affect the number of aircraft plotting on Radar Box,just in case some think their boxes my be faulty as traffic levels drop.

Drop? Blimey - it's completely barren over Ireland at the moment! Just seen BAW3 take off from LCY, presumably hoping to arrive in Irish airspace after the controllers get back to work.  We'll see...

It's gone 18.00 and there's a stream of airvraft heading towards Ireland, including BAW3.

I was watching B738 VP-CPA orbiting off the Pembroke coast waiting for the controllers to return, and it's now heading west towards Ireland.

Meanwhile, some aircraft are still having to hold over the sea.
