Wow - thanks to Pat's link, I saw live pictures of the departure.
That was impressive technology - but nothing compared to the FANTASTIC ability of AirNav Network to see the actual test flight live (or 5 mins delayed in my case - who cares?).
Has been making many, many circles in the sky at pretty low altitude above the sea just north of Jefferson County for best part of an hour now - really impressive!

did you notice a flight id 764 roaming about there about 12 miles?

Next flight of the 787 is scheduled at 0845 (local) today (22nd Dec). Hopefully the Seattle feed will be up and running.
