Title: Range polar diagram Buckinghamshire
Post by: ACW367 on December 15, 2008, 11:54:58 PM
With various discussions on the range you can get with a standard supplied aerial I decided to include the polar diagram I have recieved.  My radarbox is attached to a laptop and I place the standard aerial on various radiators around the house depending on which room I am in.  I think I get excellent range with the standard aerial and it means I am fully mobile throughout the house and garden.  The only spurious range data is the couple of spikes on the right hand side heading over the dutch coast. This was a single aircraft with incorrect position info.
