Title: Removing Colums In Database Explorer
Post by: abrad41 on October 12, 2008, 11:02:04 AM
Hi

Within DataBase Explorer (Aircraft) - Can the colums PT/LK/PT2/LK2 be removed. Its seems you could remove them in - say SQLite, but if you did would the database still work.

Cheers

Andy

You could backup your NavData.db3 and MyLog.db3 files and then use SQLite to remove the fields.  If it all goes horribly wrong, then you could copy your original files back.

I'm not entirely sure that RB will run without these fields though - why do you want to get rid of them?

RB will get upset if you remove those columns. We would urge you not to do it.

Ok, No probs

Are these colums for photo downloads, name of owner and where they were downloaded from.

Allocator - I don't see the need for these colums and they are no use to me, thats why I wanted to remove them.  I think I am struggling with this database as it is so differant from the one in basestation.

Anyway sorry for that

Andy
