For all users using ANRB.EXE in Version 6.00.000 or V6.01.001 with DVB-T (RTL-SDR) Receiver like http://www.nooelec.com/store/sdr/sdr-receivers/nesdr-mini2-rtl2832u-r820t2.html:
WIN10 did update the drivers during the creator update installation taking WIN10 to Version 1703. That way the DVB-T RTL-SDR stick isn't usable for ADS-B reception anymore.
This time even the option go back to previous driver didn't work, because highly creative windows didn't install the zadig drives, but it installed the the old original driver of the stick, which were installed with the aniversary update.
So, don't waste time with trouble shooting, just download latest zadig: http://zadig.akeo.ie/ and install the alternate drivers again.
Bulk-In, Interface (Interface 0) currently driver installed is named something with RTL UU
Bulk-In, Interface (Interface 1) currently driver installed is named something with RTL UU
Driver to be installed: WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385)

Alan,
Although not currently using the dongle as you kindly sorted out the ANRB, does the above information from Ingo apply to me should I have to revert at some stage back to using the dongle. If so, can you oblige as it is all double dutch to me.

Hi Ian,
I'm using Classic RB too. Until now, the PCs operating with RB1 (classic, original hardware) haven't enjoyed the creators update jet. So I have no idea if the major WIN10 update will run smooth with the new signed drivers for classic radarbox and V5.00.072 or V6.01.001 of ANRB software.
As soon as the update has been done on the two other PCs I will report back if any kind of trouble or problems have occurred after the update. So let's hope it will hit me first.

Hi Ian,
As you are using a Nooelc stick as a back up it may affect you. We will try it out the next time I am over to find out and fix if needed.
Thanks Ingo for advising

Thanks Ingo and Alan.

Ian,
Looks like I will need to come over and re-install the Zadig drivers. Just tried my stick on my W10 computer and had to re-load the drivers
Alan
-
Are you still using Classic RB with that PC? If yes what happened with the signed drivers ? Did classic RB run without any problem?
Many thanks!
Ingo

Its my mobile laptop, only use it with sticks, the NooElec and the Airnav Micro Radarbox. The micro worked fine on Tuesday
Alan
-
If the micro is using signed airnav drivers too, there is a good chance, that there won't be any problem with RB1. That sounds good.
BTW: Melvin is up and running.

What was the problem with Melvin's box Ingo
Alan
-
As I stated in the other thread the classic problem...
We used a teamviewer session to fix all problems and bring the database, silhouettes and logos up to date.
Ingo

OK see it now

Thanks Alan.
There's no rush regarding the dongle as the ANRB is currently operating ok. however you know me !!

It seems that, we got an answer to the question: Will the Creators Update affect the Classic RadarBox hardware or will it be a smooth transition.
Answer seems to be NO: http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=10091.0

Is it doing the same with the RB dongle or just the classic box?

I'm using NooElec Donlge under Win10 (1703 / Creators update).
Alternativer Driver was killed and had to be re-installed. After that operation without any problem.
My RB1 (Classic Hardware) is still running under Win10 Aniversary (Version 1607).
N9JIG is uisng V6.01.001 with classic Hardware. After Creators Update took place Hardware is found, but operation not possible. Reason: unknown.

Thanks for the info Ingo still to update
Alan
-
Yeah and after what appened to N9JIG I'm very happy that I'll be able to switch to dongle back-up via remote control on these two PCs.
Ingo

I have a NooElec and RB dongle for my W10 laptop so looking forward to seeing what happens with each

I feel with you...

Win 10 Creator (1073) works with an SDR (RTL-SDR) but not the classic Box. As I said in the other thread this points to the driver.

I can confirm, that classic hardware (RB1) is running on my Win10 1703 Laptop without any problems.
